"I have several pair of DP boots (wide square toe) and never have I felt I needed to 'break in' my DP boots. This pair is different and they just have a different fit and feel to them. The instep is very tight so they are very hard to get on even with thin socks. They are good looking boots and I'm sure they are built to last. The color is spot on with the website."
