"The boosts are pieced teju, but they were done very well in terms of matching each boot. . . . so mo issue there. The antique tan is very nice. Where they could be improved is the toe box (celastic etc) goes too far back on the vamp and looks a bit goofy. . . not horrendous, but it's unnecessary amd take away from the vamp flow. I'd like to see a more tapered waist and tighter arch as well. . . but they are comfortable due to the soft strike. . . for the money they are quite good. . . just not great."

"I bought these a cavenders in Jackson MS. Immediatly they were soft and comfortable. I have big ankles, so i had to get a full size larger, and i still don't have any play in the boot. I'm thinking about getting the black so a can wear one or the other depending on what i wear that day. Very nice book. I need to figure out how to shine them. Probably simple boot shine, but don't know for sure."

"Love the look of these boots. Do not use regular shoe polish on them, they require a special creme called Reptan. It buffs up to a great looking shine, and the reptile leather becomes very soft. These boots stretch very little, so the size needs to be right when you buy them."

Would i be possible to get a DP3051R with a J toe instead of the R toe?

If I wear a size 7.5D in the square toe caiman, what size would I be in these? I’ve never had a pair of round toe. (My caimans are also Dan post, love them)

How to take care of lizard boots.
Exotics - Shiny Finish: (Caiman, Ostrich, Lizard, Python, Rattlesnake, Stingray) 1. Remove dirt and dust with a soft brush or damp cloth. 2. Apply thin coats of a quality water based exotic conditioner. 3. If sheen is desired, polish with a matching color, or a neutral crème polish. 4. Apply a non-silicone stain and water protector if water protection is needed. 5. On snake skins, gently clean and condition under the scales where much dust can collect and cause leather deterioration. Spray reptile cleaners and conditioners are available that provide a foaming action to clean under the scales. After conditioning, rub the scales back down in the direction of the scale grain with a soft cloth. Matte Finish: 1. On exotics with a matte finish you would treat them in the same way you would the shiny exotics, however you would forego the polish. Useful Tip: Proper cleaning and conditioning of your exotics is vital to prolonging the life of your boots. Even without wear, the exotics that are dry in nature such as Caiman and Lizard will still crack if not properly cared for.
