You will love the comfort of the Laredo Cavalier boot. Soft leather, Removable Orthotic and lightweight Cactus Jack Rubber Outsole.
I got the boots because of the price but they are worth more. Comfortable right out of the box.
I'm going to preface all of my reviews by saying I've purchased several pairs of boots from various Dan Post lines this year (I have a nerve issue with my feet and continue to seek the most accommodating fit.) I will also mention that Dan Post (ostensibly) offers $10 back on your purchase for leaving a review. The Cavalier is sort of an odd duck, but I love it. This is easily the most comfortable western-style boot I've ever worn, while also being very solidly built. Soles are like regular boot soles rather than western-style heels. Rubber, solid, soft and quiet. If your feet can't always tolerate a walking heel these are an excellent alternative. Insoles are foam rubber, no-frills but you'll never notice in these boots. Leather is quite thick and very soft. Shafts are sturdy with a nice give. Style-wise they have a kind of moccasin thing going on. It's not exactly my style but it's undeniably a nice-looking boot. I originally bought these to wear as a 'hardcore slipper'; something both comfortable and rugged I could wear around the house and yard. I just wear them everywhere now. My only complaint is they don't come in black. These boots are made in India.
